Speech Therapy Clinic

Hello! My name is Allyson and I have been a speech-language pathologist since 2013. I have a passion for working with children!

I received my Master's degree in speech-language pathology from Appalachian State University. I started my business, A. R. Smith Speech Therapy PLLC, in 2018 after my first daughter was born. I wanted to work part time in order to have more time at home with her. I have previous experience working with Watauga County Schools as well as Appalachian State  University.

My areas of specialty are general language delay, speech sound disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, alternative augmentative communication, and early intervention. I have experience working with diverse populations with various diagnoses. I truly love building relationships with not only my clients but their families as well.

I live in Boone with my husband and three children. We love going on family adventures, hiking, and family movie nights.
